Know the goal in Yukon Solitaire
Choose a round of Yukon Solitaire and settle into its rules. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Check the rule that explains your first action. Look at what changes after your first action.
One deck, no stock, Yukon deal. Free solo play, no wagering.
Take a closer look while playing
Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Keep the objective visible.
The goal to keep in mind
Build four suit foundations from ace to king. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Notice how the game responds to your input.
How to proceed
- Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Controls
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.
A closer look at one example
A red 6 carrying an unordered tail can move onto a black 7. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Keep the game’s format in mind.
A common point of confusion
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Compare the situation with the worked example. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
